For garages, attics, basements, storage units & whole rooms

Know what's in every tote — without opening it.

Print a sheet of QR labels, stick one on each box — or each room — and snap a photo of what's inside. BoxAtlas turns it into a searchable list for everyone in your household, with an estimate of what each item would cost to replace.

No credit card. Every feature is on during the trial. From $3.99/month after — for the whole household, not per person.

Three steps. Ten minutes for your first tote.

Works on the phone you already have. No app store, no barcode scanner, no spreadsheet.

1

Print labels

Choose an Avery sheet or a 4×3 label printer and print a batch of numbered QR labels — A-001, A-002… — before you even start packing.

2

Stick & scan

Put a label on the tote and scan it with your camera. The box opens (or creates itself) and asks for a photo of what's inside.

3

Search anything

AI turns the photo into an editable item list and a short description. Type "tent" or "ornaments" and see exactly which tote, on which shelf.

See it in action.

Label a tote, snap a photo, search the whole house — a short walkthrough, start to finish.

QR labels that never go staleThe label is just a number; the location, photos and items live in BoxAtlas. Move a box, change the shelf — never reprint.
AI photo analysis with valuesSnap once, get a list — each item with an estimated replacement value, so the same inventory works for insurance. Edit anything, add manual items, re-run after a repack. Fair use: 200 photos a month on Plus.
Rooms, not just totesMark a label series as Rooms, stick the QR on a door frame and photograph the room. BoxAtlas lists the furniture, electronics and belongings with values — a whole-home inventory in an afternoon.
Search that reads the photosItem names, notes, descriptions, locations and label numbers — one search box, ranked results, highlights.

Priced like a consumer app. Built like the pro tool.

Sortly owns the QR-label workflow — at business prices, per user. Consumer apps are cheap but skip the labels and the sharing. BoxAtlas is the gap between them.

Questions

What kind of labels do I need?

Any common Avery sheet — US Letter (5160, 5163, 5164, round and square formats…) or A4 (L7160, L7163, L7165…) — or a 4×3" / 4×6" label printer. 31 formats built in. BoxAtlas generates the PDF with the right layout and a calibration page.

Do the QR codes stop working if I cancel?

The codes point at your household's boxes on boxatlas.app. Without a plan you can still view and search everything; scanning still opens the box. Your data is exportable at any time.

Is my photo data private?

Photos are stored per household in encrypted object storage and served only to signed-in members. Photos you choose to analyze are sent to our AI provider for the analysis and are not used to train models. See the privacy policy.

Can I use it offline or as an app?

BoxAtlas is a fast mobile web app — add it to your home screen from the browser menu. It needs a connection to search and analyze.

Can I inventory a whole room, not just totes?

Yes. In Settings, mark a label series as Rooms, print its labels and stick one on each door frame. Scan it, take a few photos, and BoxAtlas lists the furniture, appliances and belongings with estimated replacement values — the same list your insurer asks for.

What about the 200 photos a month?

That's a fair-use guideline for Plus, not a hard stop. Most households analyze a few dozen photos when they first set up and a handful a month afterwards.

Your garage, searchable by the weekend.

Print labels tonight, label ten totes tomorrow, never dig through boxes again.
