Terms of Service

Effective September 1, 2026 · Agreement between you and ReVu Doc LLC (a Missouri limited liability company), operator of boxatlas.app ("BoxAtlas", "we").

1. The service

BoxAtlas is a subscription web service for cataloguing household storage: QR labels, photos, AI-generated item lists and search, shared within a household account. We may change features over time; we will not remove the ability to export your data.

2. Accounts and households

• You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to create a household. Keep your sign-in methods secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• A household has one owner (billing, members, deletion) and any number of members (full access to the inventory). The owner may transfer ownership. Members you invite see everything in the household — invite people you trust.
• Household administrators at BoxAtlas may open a read-only view of your household to help with a support request; these accesses are logged.

3. Trial, plans and billing

• New households get a 14-day free trial with every feature and no card required. When the trial ends the household becomes read-only (view and search, no changes) until a plan is chosen. We do not delete read-only households for inactivity without at least 90 days' email notice.
• Plans (Basic, Plus; monthly or yearly) are billed in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown before you subscribe and may change with 30 days' notice for the next renewal. Taxes may be added where required.
• You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan & billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or at our discretion.
• If a payment fails we retry for a short period and email the owner; if it cannot be collected the household becomes read-only.
• Basic includes up to 100 boxes. Plus includes AI analysis under a fair-use guideline of 200 analyzed photos per household per month; we may throttle sustained use far beyond that after contacting you.

4. Your content

You own the photos, names, notes and other content you add. You grant us the rights needed to store, process (including sending photos to our AI providers for analysis), display to your household members and back up that content, solely to operate the service. Don't upload content you don't have the right to, or that is illegal, harassing or malicious. AI-generated lists can be wrong — check anything that matters (insurance claims, valuations).

5. Acceptable use

No attempts to access other households' data, probe or overload the service, resell it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability, backups and data

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. We keep encrypted backups (database: 30 days; photo versions: 90 days) for disaster recovery. You can export all your data at any time. On deletion of a household its data is removed from the live system immediately and from backups as they expire.

7. Termination

You may delete your household at any time. We may terminate or suspend for breach of these terms, with notice where practical. Sections 4, 8 and 9 survive termination.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoxAtlas is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data you have not exported.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules; disputes go to the courts of Greene County, Missouri. If a provision is unenforceable the rest stands. We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to owners 14 days ahead and continued use means acceptance. Contact: [email protected].
